In South Africa, rooibos tea is recommended for bathing infants and children with allergic skin conditions, such as nappy rash and atopic eczema. It has been found to have a soothing, non-drying effect to the skin.

Intaba Rooibos tea is very economical to use - one can easily make two cups using only one tea bag. Because of its low tannin content, the leaves or bags can also be reheated more than once without the development of any after-taste.
It can be kept warm for hours in a thermos flask, without loss of flavour.
One can brew one's own herbal tea by adding cinnamon, fresh herbs or lemon to it.
Rooibos can also substitute milk or water in many recipes. Soak dried fruit overnight in cold Intaba Rooibos tea for added taste.
Intaba Rooibos tea can be used as a base in marinades for meat and chicken, as it is a natural meat tenderizer.
One can also use it for extra flavour in sauces and to dissolve stock cubes.
When soaked over a long period of time, it can influence the colour of food and materials and therefore acts as a natural, semi-permanent dye.
One can give dark hair a beautiful shine by rinsing it with strong Intaba Rooibos tea.
Cold Intaba Rooibos tea bags on tired or red eyes have a soothing effect.
If you wash your face with Intaba Rooibos tea instead of water it could improve your complexion because it's an excellent, natural skin freshener.
