Rooibos can also substitute milk or water in many recipes. Soak dried fruit overnight in cold Intaba Rooibos tea for added taste.

Brewing Instructions

How to make the perfect cup of Intaba ...it's as easy as a, b, tea!

Hot tea

Place tea bag (one per person) in a cup or warmed teapot and add freshly boiled water. Leave it to steep for 3-5 minutes to bring out the full flavour. Intaba Teas are soothing, naturally caffeine-free

alternatives to regular tea and coffee and can be enjoyed without any milk or sugar. If you like your tea a bit sweeter, a drop of honey will enhance the natural flavour.

Did you know? While officially a herb, as it is not derived from the camellia sinensis plant, rooibos (aspalathus linearis) is often referred to as a tea. It brews a dark cup and has enough body to handle milk, sugar, even honey - something most herbals can't do.

Iced tea

For a refreshing thirst quencher, brew as above and allow the tea to cool down. Use two tea bags per person for a stronger brew.
Serve on ice with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint.
To add variety, the teas can be combined with iced fruit juice - sure winners for summertime!
