Our way of saying thank you ...
Deeply embedded in the San (Bushmen) tradition is their custom of exchanging gifts. Greed is a concept alien to them and they take honour and joy in sharing what they have. To prosper in conditions that can sometimes be very harsh, it is essential for them to help and respect one another.

Their wisdom has taught us the value of giving back to the communities from whom we receive the natural riches of rooibos and honeybush. That is why the producers of Intaba Teas believe in playing an active role in community development projects. Currently, Cape Natural Tea Products is co-sponsoring a honeybush cultivation project in collaboration with USAID/ASNAPP at the community of Haarlem in the Langkloof region in South Africa, as well as Ericaville near Port Elizabeth. Another such project is the cultivation of hibiscus plants in Kwazulu-Natal.
Our vision is to create projects which provide training, employment and income for rural people and to ensure sustainable harvesting practices.
So share the gift of Intaba Teas with those around you -
it's the right thing to do.
